Lesson Plan: scholarship is conversation

Libraries have always been the go to place whenever the need to acquire knowledge or information on any subject arose, however librarians are faced with a challenge that the patrons that often come in, mainly learners sometimes have never been in a library so they do not know how to go about searching for any information that that they may require, little do they know how to use the information as per requirements of their tasks.

Firstly the learners should be able to define what information literacy is?	Forms groups : In those groups will discuss and debate among each other   what information literacy is (  they will understand that they entering in a scholarly conversation and not a finished conversation)
Be able to determine the importance of information literacy provision in schools.	Consult various sources, blogs which have  been written about the given topic which give views on information literacy. (understanding that the conversation takes place various platforms)
Be able to evaluate and analyze the authenticity of the information sources	Give a report back on the given topic, also citing contributions made by various authors on the given topic.
